2020-2021 Regular Board Meeting Schedule
Brown County Community Unit School District Board of Education’s regular school board meetings are to be held the fourth Wednesday of each month with the exception of November and December which will be the third Wednesday. The meetings will be held at 6:00 pm in the band room located at 502 E Main, Mount Sterling, IL 62353.

A Board of Education member must be, on the date of election or appointment, a United States citizen, at least 18 years of age, a resident of Illinois and the District for at least one year immediately preceding the election, and a registered voter. Brown County School Board Qualifications
On the date of election or appointment, Board members must be a resident of Brown County.
Reasons making an individual ineligible for Board membership include holding an incompatible office and certain types of State or federal employment. A child sex offender, as defined in State law, is ineligible for Board membership.
