The Brown County Hornets defeated the Unity Mustangs 32-0 on Friday September 13 in the homecoming football game. The Hornets first score came on an 8 yard run from Trey Fullerton. Trey also converted the 2-point conversion to give the Hornets an 8-0 lead. The Hornets next score would come on the first play of the 2nd half when Jack Sefton took the opening kickoff to the house for an 80 yard touchdown. It made it 16-0 for the Hornets and after that it was all Hornets. The Hornets other 2 scores came from a Vince Little 9-yard pass to Hunter Law and a Tyce Fullerton 26-yard run. The Hornets defense had an outstanding game, holding the Mustangs to only 50 total yards. Kanye Mitchell had 6 sacks for the Hornets and the Fullerton brothers flew around the field making tackles left and right. After this big win the Hornets improve to 1-2 on the year and look to keep the winning going. The Hornets will travel to Triopia this week to face the Trojans in a WIVC North battle.
