Dissecting Fetal Pigs in Anatomy & Physiology
In 2nd period Anatomy & Physiology the week of 2/13 and the week of 2/20 we are dissecting fetal pigs. The past chapter that we learned about was about the different systems inside mammals. Pigs have a very similar almost exact systems of the human. The first thing we did was determine weather you were dissecting a female or a male, then you would cut it open and examine the abdominal part of the fetal pig. The last thing would be to do the esophagus and throat part of the pig. Throughout the dissection we got to learn about where all the organs are placed inside a mammal, and what and why the organs are functioning like they are.
