Launch the media gallery 1 playerAt BCCUSD I am the CEO facilitator and a special education teacher.Im also a drama club director and the Jr. Class sponsor. I have been working part time for the district for 15 years and full time for 3 years. My favorite part of the job is encouraging and challenging students to raise the bar of their own expectations for themselves and then help them achieve that success. My absolute favorite thing to do in life is spend time with my babies! Being a mom is the best! I enjoy doing just about anything when I'm with family & friends, I also love to travel and explore new places, I love to swim, read, sing, plan parties/events, and learn to do new things. I love to talk and meet new people as well. Sayings I use on a regular basis is "We can do hard things", "Speak the truth in love, but speak the truth" , "The only things you cannot ever do is quit" , "So, what CAN you do about it?", "Put on your big girl panties and deal with it" . "I LOVE traditions! We have many fun ones. Some of my favorites are around the holidays. My family goes to the soup kitchen every year to help serve on Thanksgiving and we do a project every year to take something to hand out to the homeless that come that day. We also spend the whole day the Sunday after Thanksgiving putting up our Christmas tree, we go cut down a huge live tree and enjoy the time going through our personalize ornaments and decorating the tree. We also keep a thankful journal that we all write in the night before Thanksgiving every year. We love to travel and like to explore new places, but my favorite vacations include somewhere with a beach! We have 2 cats O'Malley and Oreo inside and a black golden doodle puppy named Barklee. Outside we have two huge dogs, they are Alaskan Malamutes named Rocky and Alkela.
