Family Night with the Quincy's Children's Museum
On September 27, the Quincy's Children Museum hosted a family night at BCES. There was plenty of fun to go around for kids and adults. There were several activities that were available to do. These activities ranged from styrofoam bones to build dinosaurs to a glass cannon that launched fabric for people to catch. That wasn't all. There was a game on the floor where you had to perform whatever step's task was. There were small "shops" that kids could interact with. Another small activity was a sand pit with toys. Science was demonstrated in an area where a pulley was being constructed and demonstrated with a crate. There was a section with pipes that you could drop a ball down and watch it go. By far the most popular attraction though was an area full of foam building blocks. There was a "king" who built his own throne, and a very impressive 12 foot tall tower. Kids also enjoyed tearing down and rebuilding a foam arch located at the entrance.
