What It's Like Being a BCHS Freshman Cheerleader
Cheering for the Hornets
Being a cheerleader is exciting. Since it’s a new year to the squad, you have new uniforms and bows and have the stress of learning lots of new cheers. After school every day (except game days) you walk to the middle school gym and change into practice clothes, and you're surrounded with people who you can trust and depend on to be a good team members. The first game is rough but for some odd reason it's so much fun at the same time. Senior Emily Foster says “I can’t believe this is my last year as a BCHS Football Cheerleader. I am so glad to spend it with these amazing girls”. Another quote from senior Mia Blaesing says “The only sickness I want is Horne Fever” which should explain how addicting it gets being a cheerleader and is actually really fun.
