Updated Spectator Guidelines

*REVISED INDOOR SPECTATOR GUIDANCE*

Volleyball/JH Girls Basketball Guidelines – HS Gym

 

The HS Gym guidelines below are based on IDPH and IHSA protocols:

 

  • Brown County will be allowing home fans only for our HS volleyball and JH girls basketball games.
  • - Each player/coach will be allowed 6 guests.
    •  No ticket required.
  • Visiting fans will not be allowed at this time.
  • Spectators will be located on the opposite side of the gym, away from the players and remain above the roped off area.
  • Masks will be required for ALL spectators, players, coaches, and event staff. Social distancing is expected both in the bleachers and standing around the fences.
  • Please park in the parking lot between the school and football field and enter through the NE entrance to the school.
  • Once a spectator has arrived, they will not be allowed to leave and return.
  • There will be no concessions available. There is a water machine located in our cafeteria with $.25 water inside.
  • BCHS high students will be allowed to attend and must also enter through the NE entrance and wear a mask.
  • No admission will be charged.
  • Restrooms will be available.

*REVISED OUTDOOR SPORT SPECTATOR GUIDANCE*

Football Guidelines – Based on IDPH and IHSA Protocols

  • Brown County will be allowing 400 home spectators for our football games.
    •  No tickets required.
    •  Gates will open at 6:00 for varsity games.
  • Visiting teams will be given 75 vouchers. Visiting spectators will be expected to enter through the south entrance, proceed to the east side of the field and remain on the east side of the football field as best they can.
  • Masks will be required for ALL spectators, players, coaches, and event staff. Social distancing is expected both in the bleachers and standing around the fences.
  • Cars/trucks will be allowed to park in the north and south endzone areas.
  • Once a spectator has arrived, they will not be allowed to leave and return
  • There will be an 80-person capacity limit on the home bleachers. Please enter through ramp entrance.
  • There will be limited concessions available during varsity games. Prepackaged goods only will be sold.
  • Elementary and Middle school students MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The traditional youth football games that are played on the grounds will not be allowed this year.
  • ADMISSION: Visiting team will need a voucher along with admission
  • $5.00 – Adults
  • $2.00 – Senior citizens & Non-BC students
  •  Brown County HS students enter through the south entrance.
