Social Worker – Applicants must have an Illinois Professional Educators License with an endorsement in social work or be willing to obtain an endorsement on their current license.
Part-Time/Full-Time Middle School Math Teacher - Applicants must have an Illinois Professional Educators License with an endorsement in Math or be willing to obtain an endorsement on their current license.
Full-Time Pre-Kindergarten Teacher – Applicants must have an Illinois Professional Educators License with an endorsement in early childhood education or be willing to obtain an endorsement on their current license.
Full-Time High School Biology Teacher - Applicants must have an Illinois Professional Educators License with an endorsement in Biology or be willing to obtain an endorsement on their current license.
Full-Time Middle School Science Teacher - Applicants must have an Illinois Professional Educators License with an endorsement in science or be willing to obtain the endorsement on their current license.
Full/Part Time Modern Business Practices Teacher - Applicant must have an Illinois Professional Educators License with endorsements in Business and Secondary Education or be willing to obtain endorsements on their current license.
Part-Time Summer Meal Kitchen Supervisor – Successful applicant should have experience with the Summer Food Program via ISBE/USDA and be a current employee of Brown County School District.
Part-Time Summer Meal Cook – Experience with Summer Food Program desired. Preference given to current employee of Brown County School District.
Bus Driver (Temporary - As Needed) – Applicants must have their CDL with bus permit & complete a successful background check.
Full-Time Maintenance - Applicants must possess a valid driver's license, pass a pre-employment physical, and complete a background check. General building maintenance and construction knowledge preferred.

- Apply
for a Substitute License (SUB) or a Short Term Substitute License (STS) in your
ELIS account. Log into your ELIS account
and click on SIGN UP NOW in the left side margin
to apply for the correct
license. The SUB License requires a bachelor’s degree and costs $50.00.
The STS License requires either an associate’s degree or 60
hours of college coursework and costs $25.00.
