The district provides speech and language services to those students who are found to be eligible through a comprehensive evaluation process. Students can be seen for articulation (speech errors), language (those students who are identified as having expressive and/or receptive language deficits), voice, or fluency (such as stuttering) disorders. Students are typically seen one to three times a week depending on the severity of the problem. Students from Pre-K to High School are eligible The district also provides services for 3-5 year olds in the community who have been identified as having a speech-language disorder even if they are not yet enrolled in school.
