Positions listed below are for the Summer Food Distribution Program starting June 1, 2020:  Summer Food Employees will work on Monday only unless directed by the Superintendent.  Hours will be based on need ranging from 3-5 hours per day.

Part-time Kitchen Supervisor—1 position—Successful applicant must have experience with Summer Food Program via ISBE/USDA and current employee of Brown County School District.

Part-time Cook—1 position—Preference given to current Brown County School District Cook.  Experience with summer food program desired.

Part-time Pre Packaged Food Assembler/Meal Delivery Personnel—4 positions (considered similar to a cook position but a food license is not required)—preference given to Brown County School District employee.  Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.  Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted and stand for a period of at least an hour at a time.

Positions listed below are for the 2020-2021 School Year:

Special Education Teachers — 3 openings — 1 at Elementary school [resource classroom]; 1 at Middle School [cross-categorical classroom]; 1 at HS [resource classroom]—Applicants must have an IL Professional Educators License with an LBS I endorsement or being willing and eligible for the short-term emergency approval with plans to complete the LBS I endorsement within two years of hire date.  Successful experience as a special education teacher or working with a special education students is preferred.  

 Full or Part time Speech and Language Teacher— Applicant must have an Illinois Professional Educators License with an SLP endorsement.

Bus Driver—Regular Route Bus Driver Opening – morning and afternoon route driver.
